is the mx 4 compatible with Mac os sonoma 14?

Obviously yes, you must install up to date drivers 6.51s and DJ Console 4-Mx works in Sonoma.
The VirtualDJ LE software released for DJ Console 4-Mxx does not work in Sonoma so you must either use a newer DJ software in Sonoma, or use Djuced.
