My Hercules impulse 200 MK1 firmware is stuck at 1.59 and will not update to the latest version

I have the updated version of DJHERCULESMIX Series (2023) but it does not update the firmware of the controller to 1.72. I have also tried the HDJSeriesUpdater but it keeps saying that drivers found in the system are older than expected and to reinstall the DJHERCULESMIX Driver package again. I've followed the instructions in the page: https://www.djuced.com/change-your-pad-fx-on-hercules-djcontrol-inpulse-firmware-update-guide/, but the driver installation does not ask for the controller to be plugged in, or does nothing when I do plug it in, instead just asks to restart the PC. I can't find anything online to help with this situation. What can I do? TIA

Hello,

Welcome to the forum.

If you provide no technical information as
- your computer and the operating system,
- the version of Hercules DJ drivers you have installed (is it 2023.HDJS.2?)
- what you did, what you typed,
providing a guidance matching this mysterious operating system is difficult.

You refer to a page of Djuced website which is older than Windows 11.

In case your operating system is Windows 11, and you have installed the driver 2023.HDJS.2:
- close any DJ software, on the computer where you have installed,
- connect the DJ controller to the computer,
- right click on Windows icon in the bottom bar,
- Select Run
- type the full command, with the quotation marks
"C:\Program Files\DJHERCULESMIX\Audio\DJ Console Series\cpl2\firmware\HDJSeries2Updater.exe" -manual

- and click on OK.
