how is the crossfader on the inpulse 300? i am a scratch dj and i prefer the fader not to be too stiff or will it last me a long time?

DJControl Inpulse 300 crossfader is a basic crossfader and I would not recommend it for a scratch DJ as I do not think it will last long for a scratcher, but I do not know any beginner DJ controller whose crossfader may last long enough for a scratcher.
If you scratch, make sure you do not take the first Inpulse 300 but Inpulse 300 Mk2 instead, as the jog wheels of the first Inpulse 300 (let's call it MK1) are too stiff to scratch (while they are much lighter on Inpulse 300 MK2).
For a scratch DJ, I would rather recommend DJControl Starlight: its crossfader will not last much longer than on Inpulse 300, but it is a scratch-able controller thanks to its super light jog wheels, and it is sold at the price of a crossfader.
