Hi there I'm new to DJ and just recently got my first controller and was wondering what speakers that I could start with. I looked around my house and found 2 Sony speaker system ss-s20 but they don't have the right adapter.

The speakers you have found, Sony SS-S20, are passive speakers, needing an amplifier, as in audio system Sony CMT-S20, or MHC-G202. If you find an audio amplifier, you may connect the speakers to this amplifier and the master output of DJControl Inpulse 300 MK2 to this amplifier.
If you do not find an amplifier, you should look for stereo wired amplifier speakers as Hercules DJMonitor 42.
I think your SS-S20 speakers are very old, so be careful when you test them to test at low volume, so that in case they are defective and make a noise instead of music, it is better to try at low volume.
