ive just purchased a Hercules 500 controller, everything is connected…the controller will do its light demonstration then only one or two functions on the controller work thereafter.
im not too sure if the issue is my windows 7 laptop given the fact that I’ve downloaded the correct old djuced download for my laptop
or if it could be that I haven’t downloaded the website drivers and midi pack??

Please use the 2020_HDJS_1 driver package, which is the last one supporting Windows 7.
As for Djuced, the support for the Inpulse 500 started with version 5.x, which only works for Windows 10 and 11.
You could try using an alternative software such as Mixxx. Support for the Inpulse 500 is included with version 2.4.2, which works under Windows 7.
