Hi everybody!

just purchased a T7 and an innofader kit as a scratching dj.

In order to be clear, i'll post here the mail i sent to Innofader support:

"Hello,

I bought a hercules inpulse t7 and your Hercules T7 x3 Innofader Upgrade kit. The lag was too big so I used the right manipulation to reduce the cutin point.

Everything is perfect except that to adjust this you have to remove the plate that covers the faders. I made my settings optimally but when I put the plate back on, the crossfader touches each side of the plate and therefore my settings are no longer good!

Is it normal for the crossfader to touch like this?

I don't think so especially since I have already mounted and adjusted innofader crossfaders on many mixers as a professional technician and studio sound engineer.

I don't think i made any mistake, the plate hole width is just too small so the stem can't go far enough to cut whatsmore, the plate won't last because it's plastic.

(i sent you a picture so you can see what i'm talking about).

Thanx for your help!

Got an answer from innofader (S O to Elliot).

According to them, it's normal that the crossfader stem touches the plate (even the plastic one from innofader).

I did the calibration for the premium crossfader version and it worked very well, no need to adjust with the calibration button under the mini innofader.

Here's the link for the calibration (do it while pressing the On button.
