Hi all, first post here as a new owner of a Hercules Inpulse T7.
I wonder if anyone can help: I notice that when I push/pull (scrub?) the vinyl on the left platter, the vinyl and the slip mat will move but the platter itself doesn’t move. On the right platter, moving the vinyl will move everything, including the platter. Pretty sure this isn’t normal and I have only had the controller for 2 weeks - does anyone know if I can fix this or if I will need it replaced by the store?

What matters is how the platters behave in the DJ software: in the DJ software, platters turn when playing and moving discs neither slow down nor speed up the platter, whatever the deck.
The way pushing/pulling your disc on the slipmat makes or not the platter move is not relevant as it depends on the vinyl disc. Vinyl discs tend to bend so that
- on concave side (curve inward = to platter side), pulling the disc makes the platter turn easily,
- on convex side (curve outward = to the sky), pulling the disc is less likely to make the platter turn.
