I have been trying to get my Starlight to work for almost 3 weeks now.

the audio is not working, I have the USB cable connected to the controller. my audio device works on my laptop when i use it for daily use such as youtube or video games.

1) Please describe
a) your DJ software: what is it? What is its version?
b) What is the ASIO buffer size in Hercules DJ Control panel ?
c) your technical problem: you say "I have been trying to get my Starlight to work for almost 3 weeks now. The audio is not working". What does it means?
- Does the software detect an audio device or not?
- If the software detects an audio device, does it play tracks or does it stop?
- if it plays tracks, do you hear something or nothing?
- if you hear something, do you hear it in the speakers (connected to the master output) or in the headphones?
- if you can hear something, please describe what you hear.
d) what is the meaning of "my audio device works on my laptop when i use it for daily use such as youtube or video games." Which audio device to you refer to, the DJ controller built in audio, or the speaker or the headphones?
2) In case your software is Serato DJ Lite or Pro, have you tried disabling Serato setting playing sound on the laptop speakers?
To do it, one has to run Serato, go in Serato Settings > Audio and uncheck the field "Use Laptop Speakers".
Once you have unchecked this setting, please quit Serato setting window, then close Serato DJ and restart Serato DJ.
Have you still your "audio is not working issue"?
