I've paired the app with enabled bluetooth/location to Midi device DJControl mix - it says connected, but light still flashes white on djcontrolmix.
using the app on an Android Samsung S23 with most recent updates, any suggestions ?
Hello C0zmic,
Welcome to the user forum.
Can you confirm if, to pair in djay app, you follow the following process:
1) At djay first screen, you press on the gear icon (Settings)
2) In the settings, you press on MIDI Devices
3) In MIDI Devices menu, you press on "Scan for Bluetooth Devices"
4) When you press on "Scan for Bluetooth Devices", djay detects DJControl Mix as offline
5) Then you press on "DJCONTROL MIX" name
6) Then djay changes the status of DJCONTROL MIX into "Connected".
Yes, exactly. Ive used now a weaker USB charger and bluetooth button is now flashing white and and I could comnect to djay app. With stronger adapter all buttons stayed lightened up, even bluetooth stayed white and connection didnt work. All fine now.my 65watt adapter seemed to be the issue.
Hello C0zmic,
If your power source is a power bank, maybe a power saving setting in the power bank is the cause of your problem.
Many power banks switch off automatically (in power saving mode) if the connected device does not draw much power (and DJControl Control Mix does not draw much power): a simple solution consists in pressing twice on the power button of the bank, to prevent the power bank from switching off automatically.
It is explained in Hercules full length user manual:
https://ts.hercules.com/download/sound/manuals/DJC_Mix/User_Manuals/DJControl_Mix_user_manual_EN.pdf#page=46
"If you are using an external battery, press the external battery’s power button twice."
