Hi. I got a second hand Hercules DJ Console RMX that i wanna hook up to a win11 laptop with 8GB memory. I downloaded the djuce version that requires at least 8GB memory, and a driver. When i connect with usb the lights flash for a few seconds, then nothing. The software runs fine, it works and the sounds transmits from djuce, through the console, and to the speakers. But no buttons, wheels or faders give any response. I wentcthrough 4he settings making sure it's set to 44100, etc, and everything is fine there. What could be the problem?

Since Windows 8, the proper detection of DJ Console Rmx depends on its embedded firmware
- if your DJC Rmx built-in firmware was upgraded to release 32, it can work in Windows 8.2, 10, 11
- if your DJC Rmx built-in firmware was not upgraded to release, it cannot be detected in Windows 8.2, 10 or 11.
Can you check in Hercules DJ control panel:
- either in Windows notification area
- or run C:\Program Files\DJHERCULESMIX\Audio\DJ Console Series\HDJSeriesCPL.exe
and check if you can read a version of firmware at the about tab
If you can read a version of firmware ending with 32, your issue is not related to the firmware.
If you cannot read any version of firmware, maybe the issue comes from the firmware.

Since i couldn't get to the hercules control panel to check the firm ware, i tried to install a suitable djuce (40) on an old win7 laptop with a suitable driver. It worked! The rmx works on this! And also i checked the firmware and it ends on 32. So, to get this working on my win11, any suggestions on what to do? I've tried two usb-cables. One of them i use for my home studio so i know it works. I beleive the usb ports are 2.0. I've tried threr different drivers from your site. What else could i try? Nothing happens when i physically connect it to the win11 laptop.
