Serial number on DJControl Compact is 1 single digit too long for DJUCED to validate. 16 digits. Unfortunately the forum did not let me save the original question. So typing less formal/comprehensive about how I can't get the DJControl Compact to work on the PC after I installed driver pack and DJUCED from support.
DJUCED will not work with the controller, because it will not validate it, as there is a single digit to many, so it i always invalid.
Again no post/save or whatever button in sight? Only new topic, which will make your post disappear. Edit: this second time there was an auto save/ auto add overlay.

1) Djuced is unlocked by detecting the DJ controller, there is no need to type any serial number when the Dj controller is connected to the computer. Djuced serial number is intended for other use, not for using with a DJ controller, and the serial number written on the bottom side of your DJControl Compact controller cannot unlock Djuced.
So if Djuced does not detect your DJ controller on your computer, that is the problem. Please precise
- your version of Djuced,
- your version of Windows or macOS,
- your computer brand/model.
If you have installed the driver pack and if if your computer operates in Windows, can you precise if when you click on the Hercules DJ control panel on Windows Notification Area
