Hello Damien,

Welcome to the user community.

As you can read on https://support.hercules.com/en/product/djconsole4mx-en/ , in the warning in yellow

  1. it is possible to use DJ Console 4Mx on Windows 11
  2. it needs installing the driver package 2023_HDJS_2
  3. it will work only your DJ Console 5-Mx integrated firmware is release 16.
  4. If your firmware is older than release 16:
    - your DJ Console 4-Mx is much older than 8 years (as this firmware update was released 11 years ago)
    - updating the firmware requires either
       a) to find a Windows 7 or Windows 8 computer and a USB hub with a power adapter, and update the 4-Mx on this old PC
      b) or to remove the metal & plastic casing of the 4-Mx, remove the printed circuit board which has the USB port, find the socket with its eeprom on this printed circuit board, remove the eeprom and program this eeprom on an external eeprom programmer (something like that) with a bin file I can send you if you understand how to flashj the eeprom, set the reprogrammed eeprom on its socket, reassemble the 4-Mx and cross the finger that the 4-Mx works.
