Hey hello there,

Hope you all doing well !

I found an old Hercules DJ control mp3 e2 and I'm having fun with it but... because there's always a but....

I saw that the pitch toggle (the circle that we need to turn) is not really necessary at my point and I would love to have the "Filter" function instead of this one.

i understood that it's possible if I change the mapping and switch between the Pitch and Filter mapping. I also saw that I can edit the mapping file but I dont really know which filter line to modify and which to copy from an existing filter mapping to replace the pitch mapping.

Maybe you guys have any idea where I can find the info in order to have a working filter toggle on my DJ controller ? And maybe who knows, if I understand well I can customize my mapping as i want and enjoy multiple features !

I am using Djuced, and attached is the Mapping for DJ Control MP3 e2 (pitch but no filter)

Thanks a lot in advance <3

Hello Flodj,

Welcome to the community area.

Please confirm your DJ controller is really a DJControl MP3 e2 as there is no pitch toggle on this controller, its pitch is on a rotary encoder (I have no access to a DJControl Mp3 e2 at this moment.)

The controller with a pitch toggle is DJControl Instinct, in black or black+silver colors.

Hello there and thank you very much for your answer.

Due to my lack in english DJ vocabulary, I wanted to say rotary encoder and not toggle, sorry about that.

My goal would be to use the pitch rotary encoder as a Filter rotary encoder

Would it be possible ?

Like using that rotary feature with my pitch rotary: (see img)

Hello Flo,

I have sent you in the private messaging a mapping file doing what you asked for on a DJControl MP3 e2.
The file remains online for download during 1 week, please download it without waiting and let me know if it works for you (I have no DJControl MP3 er2, so I tested on a DJ controller with a similar encoder).

To read the private message, you can go on your profile page (when you are logged with your password)
