Hello, good afternoon. A few days ago I bought a Hercules Control instinct, and I have two problems.
One, I don't know if it must be because of the program I use (Djay Pro), that the Crossfader goes from track A to Track B abruptly and not slowly like all DJs usually do. I wanted to know what solution could exist.
and The other problem that exists is that it doesn't let me play the pre-listening. How should I connect it so that it can be heard or how should I configure it.
I'm new to this, if anyone can guide/help me. It would be appreciated. Thank you so much!

1) to set a smooth crossfading in djay Pro Windows, open djay Pro settings > MIDI devices, and look at "Crossfader cutting mode":
- if the switch is on left, the crossfader acts as a normal crossfader to mix progressively
- if the switch is on right, the crossfader becomes a cut fader, to cut very fast, for scratching
2) To prelisten in DJControl Instinct , open djay Pro settings > Audio devices
- As audio driver, select ASIO
- choose DJControl Instinct ASIO as audio device
- In Mixer Mode, select Internal
- In Master, select ch 1-2
- In Pre-Cueing, select ch 3-4
and then
- djay master should play on DJControl Instinct speakers output, on rear
- djay prelistening shoudl play on DJControl Instinct headphones output, on front of the DJ controller.
