Problems in the last update of problems in the last update of djuced because you can't record your set if you don't have asio as your audio device and this makes the whole system faulty because media is played outside djuced it fails to load because djuced it's using the audio controller and nothing else can use it at the same time.

Hi Old_Fap,

To hear the benefit of post fader fx, you can test in Djuced 6.1.1, in going to settings > mixer > check post fader fx box.

Then in Djuced, play a music a deck you hear in the master, activate the fx and listen to the result in master out when dropping the deck volume to 0 rapidly with the following effects

  • echo, with a length of 4/4 (4 beats on 4 beats)
  • reverb plate
  • transdelay
  • beatdelay
  • reverb hall
  • dub delay

Hello UX TEAM! 🙂

So... i did yesterday a test offline and today a test during a streaming 🙂
I am ready to write you all i did!

1) about WASAPI device in 6.3.2 version, yes, i always use what you wrote; i think the same about the "WASAPI" word there is no more

2) About the Volumes when i listen to track with headphones (and some days ago you wrote me like "what you did when this happened?"), during mi streaming live i did what i did like always, like select a track from another folder, use an effect with both of tracks, change pitch, speed... always was good! But when i had to write in chat (my keyboard in on the left of console) i touched the Crossfader with my elbow... and the volumes in headphones (and the audio of the streaming) gone down; i went into the Audio Options, i press again the "Play" button on "Altoparlanti (Realtek) Audio" and everything turned ok; i tryed some other times, and everytime i touched it... volume goes down, so!! I have an idea: i go in the Crossfader Menù and i change this:

Default was "- 6db", i changed it to "None" and now looks like the audio have no changes; hope was only that option! 😀  (but tomorrow i will do some other tests)

BTW: you ask me my spec of my PC, so:
- Windows 11 Pro version 24H2

- Intel Core i5 10400F CPU 2.90 GHz
- RAM 16 GB

3) I try the ASIO test, but the problem of the audio doesn't disappered; the volume from the speakers arrive like an eighth before the Waveform on screen and the audio into headphones.

Hope that i did can help you and others in DJUCED!

And (is only my opinion) was better in version 6.1.1. hear the effect also in headphones

SO! Sorry again my bad english, and if i can help with some other things... let me know! 🙂

Hello Old_Fap,

A DJ using OBS (I do not use OBS) just told me he thinks both issues you meet come the laptop speakers setting in your Djuced configuration:

Instead of playing on Realtek Sound Card

you should select directly "Cable Input (VB-Audio Virtual Cable)" as it is described in the guideline:

https://www.djuced.com/kb/how-to-live-stream-your-djuced-dj-sets/

"Choose the Virtual Audio Device as secondary master audio" (in this example the Virtual Audio device  is iShowU Audio Capture, but in your case, it should be VB-Audio Virtual Cable)

So, as a summary, please try this setting in Djuced 6.3.2:

  • in Periferica audio:               DJControl Inpulse 300 Mk2 ASIO (ASIO)
  • in Invia il segnale master agli altoparlanti del computer               CABLE INPUT (VB-Audio Virtual Cable)

The reasons why he thinks this should solve your 2 issues:

  • waveform displayed with a delay: as you capture Djuced sound after the software rather than playing Djuced master sound directly in virtual audio device, this capture is CPU intensive and may some processing in the computer, as the waveform display,
  • Audio disturbance in headphones: if you capture Djuced sound in OBS out of the software, you probably capture Master+sound (instead of capturing only the master).

He does not know why it works better in Djuced 6.1.1 in your computer, but he says capturing in OBS is CPU intensive, so doing it on at the same time & same computer as Djuced may make the computer lack CPU power and if Djuced 6.1.1 is set in a slightly less CPU intensive way, it may cause a big difference.

Ok... I did two more tests with different style of music;
I write everything also in this message, cause (i repeat) i really lovr DJUCED and i hope my long messages can help someone <3
SO... tests... one melodic organic at 124 bpms, one with trance and techno at 136 bpms;
I have to return at version 6.1.1 for audio problems in headphones... i changed the limit master, and or it go very high and distorted if i listen both of track, or i have the problem you know that one is very high, one in very low (master of headphones and in headphones listening)

During tests in second live (today afternoon), i had also to turn the volume down on OBS (usually i have it at -5,0 dB and few times it go on the red zone; today i had to put it at -9,5 db)

@UX TEAM
Yes, i try with 6.1.1 what you wrote and it is all ok!

I have to continue use 6.1.1 (especially during weekend 'cause i have a crowdfunding raid train, dont want to make my live not good 🙂 )

Part 2 for UX TEAM

I dont have a Laptop, i have a desktop PC;
BTW, some days ago i make also a test with OBS with all the combination; but in OBS i have to use only "Desktop Audio"; because if i use ASIO i cant hear audio from Speakers and i need it (to hear if some stuff about redem points, or raids, or bits) are working 🙂
