DJUCED stops the recording and the decks itself

So WHENEVER I first open DJUCED it will stop the recording and the decks by itself and it usually happens within the first 15min of playing. I'm not even pressing anythingΒ  when it happens. It's very annoying 'cause it happens every time I first turn on my laptop and open DJUCED. It also happens when I'm not recording a set. Any possible solution for this ?

Hello Furiosity,

Sorry but I do not understand what you mean.

Please
1) read the guidelines of the forum here: https://community.hercules.com/community/dj-software/guidelines-for-dj-software-discussion/
2) write in the message the basic technical info: your computer operating system, version of Djuced (as 6.1.0) and the name of the DJ controller
3) then describe what you mean by "Stop the recording":Β
If you mean that you are recording your DJ mix, then please precise your recording settings (they are in Djuced > Settings > Recording) and make sure you have enough storage space to write the recording (for example, a 320 kb/s settings makes a 36 MB files in 15 minutes).
and what you mean by "it also happens if I am not recording a set", as "stop the recording" while you are not recording is unclear for me.

Remarks:

1) on Windows laptop with a DJ controller powered by the USB, make sure you disable with the power setting allowing the computer to turn off USB device to save power.

  • Right-click on Windows Start > Device Manager.
  • In Device Manager, Click the arrow to the left of Universal Serial Bus controllers to expand the list.
  • Right-click on the first instance of USB Root Hub in the list, and then click Properties.
  • Go to the Power Management tab, and uncheck (i.e. deselect) the Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power box.
  • Click OK to confirm and close the dialog box.
  • Repeat the same procedure for each entry under Universal Serial Bus controllers named USB Root Hub or USB Hub.

If you do not feel it is good to start a post by "Hello" or "Hi", maybe the community area is not the best area for you and you should contact Hercules technical support on https://support.hercules.com/en/contact-en/ .

Hi, what I meant is, when I start my laptop and open DJUCED and start playing it will always stop both decks during the first 15min of playing, doesn't matter if I'm recording a set or not. However I can still play music and record mixes, but I always have to go through that bug first and then reopen DJUCED so I can play normally, hope this clarifies what I meant.

Edit: I tried doing the thing in Device Manager but it didn't help.

Hello Furiosity,

To analyze whether the isue related to a hardware setting or to a software setting, can you make the following test:
- connect the laptop the the power plug, and the DJ controller (what is it?) to the laptop,

- run Djuced,

- select your computer sound card and audio device in Djuced, so that it does not play on the DJ controller

- and check if it stops the decks during the first 15 minutes of playing.
