Suggestion/request for the XLR software (Creator function)
What I would really like to see is for the XLR system (or XLR software) to support more tracks (at least 5) in the future—especially for Creator applications.
Currently, you can only use one music or chat track, for example, but you have to manually place everything on a single track. It would be much better if you could freely place the different applications on individual tracks 1 to 5.
For example:
Chat 1, Chat 2, Chat 3 — each chat application on its own track so that you can control them separately.
Music tracks:
Track 1: normal music
Track 2: e.g., Filmora (video editing or sound source)
Track 3: Spotify or other music services
This would allow you to control, record, or mute each source separately without having everything on one track.
This would also be super handy for gaming: if you have two games or applications running at the same time, for example, you could put each one on its own track and control them individually.
In short:
→ More tracks (at least 5) for freely assignable applications
→ Manual routing of each app to its own track
→ Full control over each track in the XLR mixer/software
This would be a huge help to us small content creators, as it would allow us to work more professionally—without having to mix everything on a shared track.
Hello Baumi.
Thanks for the feedback.
At the moment, you can create a Music profile and put your normal music on Music soundcard, Filmora on System soundcard, Spotify on Aux soundcard. Then rename all tracks to match your apps. After that, you can create a Game profile and do the same for your gaming apps. And so on.
On 14th of october, we will release a major software update and you will be able to add any audio source (app or peripheral) to any track by just drag-and-dropping them. That means you will be able to have normal music on track 1, Filmora on track 2 and Spotify on track 3 without any limitation (except for the fact they will be affected to one of the virtual soundcard of the device : System by default, Music if you change it). Therefore, you will virtually have multiple Music tracks controlling just one of your app.
Does that help ?
