so im new to the world of dj-ing and its almost 6 mounths i started and its 3 mounths i have my 4-mx.
lets get to my question about the jog wheel . when i was reading about the 4-mx on the sites, manual i never read anything about searching through the files with the jog wheel like the rmx does . but yesterday i was doing it in a party and i was really pissed . im wondering was it a programm bug or is there a button or something that you push and it switches between scratch mode and searching through files mode ?
p.s. im using virtul dj
In order to use the jogwheel in the file browser, you need to push and hold the UP or DOWN button.
Thanks man, that was a great help but the thing is at the party I wasn't pushing anything but it was searching the files instead of scratching and another thing is it was just on deck A and B, deck C and D were working fine.

Did you installed the latest driver for the console, which also contain a new firmware for the 4-Mx ?
The potential problem that this firmware fixed could have other weird concequences that were not seen during testing.
Also be sure to use the latest version of VDJ LE (7.02).
