ive had my 4mx for about 2 months. i love it, but about once a gig, the sound gets lows get distorted. i have to go into config>sound and click apply and, after a brief pause, problem is fixed. can anyone tell me how to fix this problem?
try traktor scratch pro and if is the same issue... the problem will be your hARdware... check also the cable

1) You should complete your profile in this forum (My Space > My Profile > Describe your equipment), to detail your computer configuration (computer type, operating system, CPU, DJ software).
2) I suppose you are in Windows, and then you should disable Windows setting which changes the power supply on the USB ports:
- Use an administrator account of Windows
- Right click on My Computer > Properties > Device Manager
- Develop USB controller paragraph
- Right click in the first line USB Root Hub and go to properties > tab Power Management > disable the check "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save energy"
- Repeat this last operation on all the USB ports on this computer.
