about asio buffer size

hi guys
can you tell me what is the defaut or proper asio buffer size to my hercules dj console working with vdj , because im afraid that i changed ?

the default asio buffer size for the rmx is 960 (21m/s), but you can go alot lower than that. it all depends on how good your laptop/pc is.

google "dpc latency checker" (from thesycon) to check what sort of latency you have. this lets you see if there is anything dragging down the bus. common contributors are wireless and internal audio cards (if youre using an external card, disable internal).

ive tuned netbooks to run the rmx with both traktor and vdj.

my laptop is using a vista , hp dv5, intel core 2 duo cpu p7350 , 2.00ghz, 3gb ram, nvidia geforce 9200m gs ..can you tell me should i do low the latency more?

i dont look at machine specs, i run dpc latency checker. subjective terms such as "good" dont cut it when youre performing.
