i just got the inpulse 500 and was playing around in djuced. somehow i found an alternate pad fx mode with an auto fade to grey sweep and a couple auto scratch fx. i reset the settings and now i cant figure out how to get that back.

If I recall correctly you need to go to Settings -> Mapping. There you should see two mappings: one "normal" and one PADFX. I think you are looking for the PADFX layout, so just select that one, then restart Djuced.
