hi can anyone help? when i make a playlist and let it auto run if i was to pause or even touch the volume it stops auto play and then its starts back to the beginning on my hercules instinct is this just a poor design fault or am i doing something wrong ?

If you push on play, pause, or if you move the crossfader, you change an automatic mixing setting, so it is logical Djuced software considers you come back to manual mixing and leave the automix mode.
But I didn't experience anything like than when moving a volume fader.
Please describe
a) your configuration
- Software version: is it Djuced 18 1.0.64 or have you another release ?
- What is you environment: Windows or Mac, which operating system version (for example Windows 7 64-bit), computer brand & model, CPU, RAM
There is a field for it in MY SPACE > MY PROFILE > DESCRIBE YOUR EQUIPMENT.
b) your issue: which button do you move, and what happens exactly.
