cable connection to active speaker impluse 500

good evening guys, i need your help once again. i have a hercules impulse 500 and i am thinking of buying a mackie thrash 215. i want you to tell me what is the right way to connect them, what cable do i need. do i have to use both channels of the speaker to rca output of the console or a single xlr. also if i get a second one in the future how should the connection be made?
