cant get the inputs working on my trim

hello everybody, before i waste more of my time im trying to describe you guys my problem with my trim 4&6

- mac osx 10.10.1
- newest driver from the hercules website 
- newest firmware through the firmware updater
- i can verify that the unit is installed correctly after checking the places in the document ( http://ts.hercules.com/faqs/eng/her_eng_00395.pdf)
- output is working
- input is not working. not on 1-2 or 3-4
- leds on the vu-meter for the inputs are working and are showing proper meters
- when i select the inputs in my audio softwares (ableton live and ni traktor) i cant get any input.
