all the tracks i use are wav and it obviously records in wav, i want to get the best possible quality at the end of the mix so if changing the compression quality will help im all ears!wink

Hi Burgric,

The compression quality setting only works with the "Save Compressed" option when you stop the recording. (It's for the .ogg compression).
1 is high compression (low quality).
10 is low compression (high quality).

Anyway if you want the maximum quality, just choose "Save" to save in ".wav"

Hello Burgric,

To complete Victo's answer, if the end of the record, you choose Save and Compress, Djuced 18 saves the recorded file in .ogg with a compression level depending from your choice of compression quality in the Record menu.

Compression level in Djuced => kb/s of the .ogg audio file
- 1 = 80 kb/s
- 2 = 96 kp/s
- 3 = 112 kb/s
- 4 = 128 kb/s
- 5 = 160 kb/s
- 6 = 192 kb/s
- 7 = 224 kb/s
- 8 = 256 kb/s
- 9 = 320 kbps
- 10 = 499 kb/s

PS: For questions on Djuced 18, don't hesitate to ask on Djuced.com website: they have also a forum and they answer fast.
