deejay trim 3et4 output is only coming out of one side.

i just bought a deejay trim 4&6 today. i hooked it up to vdj 7.3 and im only getting sound output on the right side on the 3&4 channel.

ive eliminated the mixer as a problem because i switched mixers. i eliminated the rcas because i switched them around. i eliminated the decks because i also switched them from left to right and i get the same result from channel 3&4.

im using timecodes with a numark m6 usb mixer with two cdj 800s. what am i doing wrong? do i have to use an adapter on channel 3&4 out to the mixer?

i have a pair of 1/4" to rca cables that i could use on the 1&2 output to the mixer just like i do with my rmx, but i dont see an advantage to that. help please!!!
