deejay trim 4et6

hello, i am having some problems with my vdj software recognizing the channels 3&4 on my deejay trim. everything has worked fine for the first 4 months or so (minus a few small hiccups here and there) since i recieved my new deejay trim but now all of a sudden it wont recognize these channels and i need them because i run timecodes: deck 1 on 1&2, deck 2 on 3&4...

i have:
restarted my computer
turned off and then on the deejay trim
ran the firmware updater
ran the software updater
