im hoping someone can help me.
first, im having some difficulty when using traktor pro 2 and hercules dj console rmx when connecting the rmx as an aggregate device, which is suggested to select audio in order to route to soundflower 2 ch, which is then supposed to push audio through the mixlr live streaming app.
im running a mac book pro 13 inch with osx 10.11.2. ive also downloaded the beta version of soundflower, now at 2.02 for el capitan.
i did try to find an el capitan driver for the hercules rmx, but im not sure if the driver i found is the correct one, or if there is even one available to ensure that my hercules rmx works with the os properly. right now, it seems to be hit or miss when trying to run as an aggregate device. it is more reliable when selecting the hercules as the device, but i cant seem to route hercules audio through soundflower to mixlr either.
i was told that the hercules might need to be connected via a powered usb hub, so i tried that and when its connected, only the right half of the lighted buttons activate/light up when connecting, then freeze. so i disconnected from the usb hub and and went back to directly inputting the hercules and it went back to lighting up fine.
but, from time to time it wont connect with traktor when using as an aggregate device, so i have reboot over and over again to get them to see each other.
and, when it does work, im trying output from the hercules listed in the aggregate device to soundflower. there are times it works and there are times it does not and nothing outputs to soundflower and then to mixlr.
its so super frustrating and i dont know if i can solve this connection problem between everything by updating a driver or something, finding a new sound routing software that can help, or have to simply buy a new controller.
any advice would be appreciated.
