my mk4 does not work with my macbook pro. i have the latest drivers for traktor and vdj installed. when i plug my console in and open one of the programs some of the lights on the console turn on but that is it. i press a button and it does not work. when i use the midi audio setup on my mac it reads it and everything so it is something with the software with the console. what is wrong?

There is indeed a known issue between the MK4 and the new MacBook. A new driver and firmware will be issued soon to correct the problem.

However, in the meantime, you can use a powered USB hub between the console and computer to prevent this problem.

Hello JuWi404,

The powered USB hub needed is a USB 2.0 USB hub.

I ordered this one off Amazon:

http://www.amazon.com/Belkin-USB-2-0-4-Port-Ultra-Mini/dp/B000Q8UAWY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1350465466&sr=8-1&keywords=usb+hub

It comes tomorow or the next day.

The new drivers correcting the problem, have been available since the end of October:

For future reference, a self-powered USB hub comes with his own power supply, where a bus-powered hub relies on the power provided by the USB port, and does not include a power supply.
