dj control mp3 e2. software not loading onto windows 8

i cannot get the drivers to load. the "please wait" logo hangs for hours on the screen.
do i need to download different drivers for windows 8 ?

Are you trying to install the latest verison (5.HDJS.2012)

But it says "error" just before installing.
