hey everyone,
i need some help setting up my dj hercules mp3 e2 with my laptop. two questions really, whats the best software to use with it. and also how do i set it up so i can preview it through my headphones and then feed it out to the speak. do i need a external soundcard and if so what do i need to do with it.

Picking the best DJ software is really a matter of personal choice, based on the look of the interface, the workflow and some features you might prefer. I would suggest starting with the provided software and download a few demo of other softwares to give them a trial run.
As for the second question, in order to have both headphone preview and speakers output, you need a soundcard that has at least two stereo output. Since this is not the case for most laptop, an external soundcard will most likely be necessary.
