hello,
yesterday i download from the hercules support ( http://ts.hercules.com/eng/index.php?pg=view_files&gid=17&fid=61&pid=226&cid=5) site the midi profile for the steel controller. its all wrong .. the pdf file mapping with the images and in action many buttons are wrong..
what happen? can anyone have the .tsi file with the right congiguration?
the old traktor scratch pro file that download from the support site ayear ago worked excellent with the old traktor except the buttons who apply the effects on each deck (that configure myself to work with the shift button)
in the new traktor mapping dont have shift button and in place of it is the scratch button..

1) The Traktor Pro 1 presets files you can download here have not changed, they can support Traktor Pro 2 either if you prefer them.
2) If you mean you don't like the Traktor Pro 2 mapping, then you can use the Traktor Pro 1 map, and if you mean you find what is listed pdf file doesn't match with what you test, please:
- precise your configuration and bugs (if you don't precise your version number of Traktor Pro (for example Traktor Pro 2.0.1), whether you are on Mac or on Windows, and with which version of the oprating system, and which function in the software doesn't match with the pdf, you should not expect that someone duplicates your issue).
Ok I work on mac os x 10.6.7, i have traktor scratch pro 2.0.1 and i have the hercules dj control steel latest version drivers.
I test that the mapping of traktor pro 1 used on traktor pro 2, but the traktor 2 have many new features...
The mapping of traktor pro 2 at the pdf file in the configuration guide have many errors in the image "MIDI Layout for the DJ Control Steel and Traktor 2 Pro/Duo" and not have the "Secondary functions" as the traktor pro 1 mapping.. because the button which use at 1 like shift in 2 used like scratch button...
Some actions of the 2 i like but some not. I need a version which contains actions from traktor pro 1 and 2 mapping but something like this i believe must to do with myself... and i don't know how...

Example:
in the main configuration in pdf file say
M: Master Volume (and the correct is Sync)
L: Volume fader (and the correct is Load selected)
C: Scratch On/Off (and the correct is Dry/Wet but even this work)
and most of this mapping is not correct...
and the secondary functions how can i choose it on traktor scratch pro 2?

The OS X PDF document has been corrected to reflect the actual configuration.
Indeed, the Traktor Pro 2 has been modified compared to the Traktor Pro version, and most of the secondary functions have been remapped without the use of an alternative mode.
If you want to create or modify your MIDI configuration, the Traktor user manual offers the basics, but for in depth details, I would suggest the Traktor Bible (www.traktorbible.com )
The os x pdf document is now ok.
But I need the secondary functions... I try to see how can I do it my self..
