hello everyone,

i am newbie to dj, my name is classic force. hows everyone doing?

bought my hercules "air" controller during the holidays. love the product! hercules team, good job!

i know to start scratching using djuced, i have to activate the "scratch" button on the dj control air (the first up to the crossfader). when its blue, scratch mode is on.

now that is done, the sound come out from my scratch are way too ugly to listen. (mostly becasue of my jog skill on scratching, sorry)

now, can anyone tell me is there any other setting i need to do on my "djuced 18" to make scratching sounds better?

i also tried going into general setting, switch the mode from "mix" to "scratch", but still sound bad.....

am i doing all the correct steps? did i missed any step?

i am a beginner in djing, so any suggestion are welcome.
thanks again to everyone here!

cheers!

Hi Classic
I'm french so sorry for the bad translation xD
err ... sorry but the scratch with a dj control air (or a platinum mp3 in general) is quite complicated.
1. You can't scratch on any tracks or at any time.
2. Dj turntables to control air allow you to scratch but the sound is pretty bad because the controller is too small
Otherwise you can go to your taskbar and adjust the sensitivity of the scratch by the tab: Hercules DJ Series
Good luck anyway.
