i have the hercules djcontrol instinct on mavericks and when i open djuiced i get the message:
"dj console not present, the application will run in demo mode for 30 minutes"
and its stuck in demo mode. the funny thing is that the controller does work in djuiced.
what ive done:
-upgraded all drivers
-connect controller before starting up djuiced
-the controller is fully functional and installed in mavericks and even works in djuiced (visible in midi devices)
this is super annoying and i am hoping for a managable solution

Please confirm you have the last version of Djuced 18, release 1.0.90, and the last version of DJControl Instinct (today the driver package is 5.03).
What is your version of Mac OS 10.9: is it 10.9.2 or 10.9.3?
I have heard an issue of non detection with another DJ software which didn't properly detect its MIDI controller in Maverick.
Can you do as follows
- Close Djuced 18
- Go in dans Applications > Utilities > Audio MIDI Setup
- On the top bar, click on Window > Show MIDI Window
- Check DJControl Instinct is detected there.
- Over Configuration, the default setting is "Default", click on "Default" and go to "New Configuration"
- In the Menu "Name your new configuration", type a new name (as DJControl Instinct, or whatever except Default)
- Click on OK to save the configuration name. Close Audio MIDI Setup.
- Run Djuced 18.
Bummer, still no relief.
-All versions are up to date
-Did the thing in midi setup
My mavericks version is 10.9.2

2) Do you use the DJControl Instinct on the same USB port as the USB port where you have installed it?
3) Is your DJControl Instinct properly detected in its control panel (in the about tab)? Is the MIDI channel set on 1?

- last version of DJControl Air drivers, package 5.69 today
- last version of Djuced 18, 1.0.99 today
2) If you meet any technical problem, please fill your profile in clicking on "MY SPACE"> "MY PROFILE": you have 3 fields to list your equipment:
- In "HERCULES EQUIPMENT IN USE", please check DJControl Air in the list,
- In "SOFTWARE IN USE", check Djuced
- In "HERCULES EQUIPMENT IN USE": describe your computer brand and model, CPU, quantity of RAM, version of Mac OS (10.09), version of DJConsole Series driver package, version of DJ software.
