hi i am using virtual dj, hercules dj console mk2, alesis usb mixer, and after about 20 mins broadcasting to shoutcast server, my listeners report an echo!
the console is plugged into pc, via usb, as is the mixer, and the console is plugged into mixer, with condenser mic and headphones.
can anyone help - its doing my head in!!

1) Please precise which audio streaming you broadcast to shoutcast server:
a- the audio streaming inside VirtualDJ
b- USB audio streaming of the Alesis USB mixer
c- or the analog output of the Alesis USB mixer which you record on the line input of the computer?
2) If your setting is 1) a) or 1) b), do you broadcast from another PC than the PC on which you mix in VirtualDJ, or is it the same PC.
3) As usual when one have a technical problem, it would be better to provide more information as:
- version of VirtualDJ (for example VirtualDJ 7.0.4 Pro)
- operating system (as Windows 7 64-bit Service Pack 1)
- computer configuration (CPU, RAM)
- are you in ASIO mode in VirtualDJ or in WDM mode?
