hi ive set up my hercules air controller to work with traktor scratch pro 2.01 using the pre set mapping that i found online but the scratch function doesnt work, the jog wheel can be used to pitch bend and search through the track when the deck isnt playing but not to scratch i.e backspin.. do i need to map this function in manually myself, if so how do i do this? i have absoloutely no idea what im doing when it comes to digital dj setups.. thanks
It's possible that the scratch function might have not been assigned. Where exactly did you find this mapping ?
The mapping available from the Hercules support site does included this functionnality (as explained in the accompagning document) but it requires at least Traktor v2.12 to work correctly.
