hercules mk2 and logic pro map problem

hi.i use hercules mk2 and logic pro 9.1.6 and i want to use it like a controller,but,i cant map up to one controls per time.for example.
i map cut off knob, of vangurd vst synth, to bass knob on a deck of hercules and i want to map pitch on any other knob,for example treble on deck a of controller.when i do this the cut off stops working and the two them knobs is mapped together.i fresh install snow leopard and logic pro and i have this problem,please help.thanks

The MK2 being a standard MIDI controllers, so you should normally be able to assign more than one control at a time. The problem seems to be with the way your are trying to program things.

I woud suggest reading the Logic user manual again regard MIDI configuration, or tutorial such as this one:
