hi, im a beginner dj and im having problems with the whole headphone monitoring process
im using virtual dj 7 pro, a hercules mp3 e2 controller and this soundcard.
the problem i have is i cant get headphone monitoring to work
ive connected my head phones and speakers into the soundcard, on vdj ive set the configuration to
input: none
output: headphone - master:front output/ headphones: rear output
sound card 4.1 but it still does not work. ive tried putting the headphones and speaker output in every different hole.
do i need a new soundcard? what is a multi channel soundcard? is my soundcard a multi channel soundcard?

Hello,
It seems that your soundcard is a "Virtual" multichannel soundcard, so it's just a Mic IN (yelow plug) and Stereo Output Card (green plug).
So you have Only Two Physical channels on it.
But you can try to work on a "multi-audio card" config with VDJ (not really recommanded for stability and performance, but it works).
So go in preferences, then "Advanced config".
Here click on the "+", then add :
- Master => Your computer's soundcard => 1/2
- Headphones => Your USB Soundcard => 3/4
Then plug your Speakers on the computers soundcard, and your headphones in the USB soundcard.
