hey everyone i just got into djing and i need to know which controller would be better. the dj instinct or dj air? i like them both and the reviews are about even, so i just want some more input. thanks! 🙂

DJControl Air has 3 additional features:
- 2 sets of 4 velocity pads,
- a touchless sensor: the Air control,
- a fader for the pitch (instead of a rotary encoder).
and DJControl Air is a bit larger.
For the rest, both controllers have similar features.
Or should I save up a bit more money and get the air+?

I confirm DJControl Air+ is significantly better than DJControl Air:
- larger control surface (17"6 vs 13"5) = more space for controls, more co
- soft-touch transport buttons (vs hard keys on DJC Air)
- wider detection range for the Air sensor on Air+ (2 to 3 times the range of DJControl Air)
- microphone input (no mic. input on DJControl Air)
- larger jog wheels (5"5 diameter vs 3"6) with higher resolution (number of steps per rotation x 3)
- more keys
- rotary encoder for the browser (versus directional buttons on DJControl Air)
