jog wheel resolution?

not sure if this is a problem with the dj control air or with djuiced but there seems to be a lack of resolution with the jog wheels.
for example when spinning through a track it seems very difficult to line up on a beat or set a que point as the jog wheel seems to skip through the track at milisecond jumps rather than a smooth slide (if that makes sense?).
ive tried playing with the midi sensitivity in the settings but that doesnt seem to help.
ive only just upgraded to the air from an old mk2 console which i used with virtual dj (ver 4), but the resolution with the jog wheels was a hell of a lot smoother with the old config.
ive not had chance to try the air yet with any other software (as my old version of virtual dj doesnt support it (or would it with some serious midi re-mapping?)).

any ideas?  thanks.
graham.

No ideas then anyone?
Well, I've managed to try out the Air console now with Traktor 2.5 and Virtual DJ 7 via a friends studio and it looks like the problem lies with the DJuiced software.  In both Traktor and VDJ the jog wheel operation is very smooth and precise, I can easily skip (spin) through a track in either direction for quick previewing and for setting Cue or loop points in the track, something that's impossible in DJuiced due to the bad resolution with the jog wheels making it impossible to set anything precisely on a beat.
It's a shame since I love the simplicity of DJuiced compared to Traktor and VDJ (I don't need that much functionality as a bedroom DJ, plus Djuiced is perfectly mapped out for the Air Control), but it looks like I'm going to have to fork out for some new software.
