i recently bought a hercules dj console rmx from someone else, but we have lost the serial number and cd, can you help?
In case the unit was purchased from another user, as a second device then you will not be able to get hold of a new serial number for your device from Hercules or Atomix productions. The best thing would be to check with the original owner of the unit and see if he or she registered the product before selling the device to you. In case he / she did then the Virtual DJ program can be retrieved from his/her account (later on he/she can burn the software on a CD and provide it to you).

A work-aound solution would be to use the MIXXX software which received some updates recently, including a midi map for the RMX console, meaning that now the unit is recognized by the program.
