mac wont find dj trim 4et6

hi guys, i know this is not a tech support but we have contacted through the main tech support page and they have been largely unresponsive so was hoping someone here could help me out!

i have connected and installed my hercules trim 4&6 to my 2012 imac running el capitan 10.11.6. i have installed the most up to date driver (5.92 i believe) but the hercules doesnt show up anywhere in the audio midi settings, system prefs, or any daw.

any help or advice would be hugely appreciated?
