mapping dj 4set with traktor

hi,

i got the official traktor mapping. but i would like to make few changes. when i tried using fx control on the c/d decks with the headphone volume knob, both the headphone volume and the fx value gets changed.

is it possible to keep the headphone volume constant and use that knob only for fx control on the left decks ?

When mapping knobs or sliders to various commands, be sure to enable "Software Takeover" for all of them.

What this does is maintain the value of a controls when switching back and forth between them.

I would recommand reading the Traktor user manual, which contains all the information to understand the basics of mapping.
