hey every one, im having a lag time software problem with my "steel" and my mac book pro.
here is how it goes: when i move the fader slow(no problem) when i move the fader fast(it dose not move all the way to the end on the computer screen) but if  i tap it a bit after that, then it takes its right place.
i must say that this is a new issue, everything was ok a few days ago.
what can i do to fix this issue?
here is my set up.

control steel

mac book pro: os x 10.6.5
2.53 ghz
intel core i5
4 gb of memory
1067 mhz ddr3

sound card: gamesurround mouse xl pocket lt3

thank you.

Hello juzu,

Can you make sure to have installed the last Hercules OSX drivers (2.47) for your controller:

http://ts.hercules.com/eng/index.php?pg=view_files&gid=17&fid=61&pid=226&cid=1

Then if the problem persists you can check if your DJ Control Steel is woking well as a MIDI controller following this procedure:

and espacially testing the crossfader by moving it fastly and checking that you really go between 0 and 127 from left to right position.

Hello Juzu,

1) What is your software complete version? (for example : VirtualDJ 5.2.2 DJC, or VirtualDJ 7.0.2 Pro)
2) What is your driver package on DJ Control Steel?

, I do not  see the "test setup" option on the midi menu (utilities, audio midi setup), all I see is the "Gamesurround Mouse XL pocket LT3" instead.

@Maxjack: VirtualDJ 5.2.2 DJC.
how can i find my driver package?

Im running Snow Leopard OS X 10.6.5
