ok, so ive just got myself a dj4set and am having a small but ultimately annoying problem. the only sound i get out of this unit is if im playing music through virtual dj 7 pro, it wont let my pcs audio through at all. so now i have my usb connection to the 4set then the 4set out to my amp and speakers which is exactly how i had my dj console mk2 which worked perfectly.
so does this unit have this use or have i just bought a product that is useless for what i need it for??
As with the MK2, simply make sure that:
a) the audio mode in the DJ control panel is set to WDM
b) the DJ 4 Set is selected as the default device (with the green check mark) in Windows control panel > Sound > Playback tab).
Well god damn 🙂 I was checking the audio playback in the stupid realtek thing i had in my taskbar as i've just done a fresh install of everything for this new purchase so apparently that doesn't do a thing haha. Sorted and now very happy 😉
