hi all, consider myself pretty experienced with setting up dj consoles. so im running vdj 7.3, pc, and just tried to install the dj control air.  i have no sound with headphones or out the mix output. ive re installed drivers, and added the map and device.xml to the vdj document folder, the control is working fine but i cannot get any sound what so ever, i have master set to 1&2 and headphones to 3&4. im selecting the dj control air asio as well.  ive also tried it with djuiced just to see and same result.

really lost here, is it possible the soundcard is faulty on this device.  i was previously running the rmx2 but it broke on me and had to pick this up for a quick gig this weekend and isnt working out for me.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

thank you so much

Hello,

You probably did it, but just to make sure, have you checked your Windows mixer is not muted?
In Windows Mixer, DJControl Air is listed as DJ Control GP.

I have noticed that in Windows mixer:
- setting the volume in Windows mixer duplicates the volume setting in DJControl Air control panel,
- but muting DJControl Air with Windows mixer mute button actually mutes both mix and headphones outputs, but you don't see this muting on DJControl Air control panel.

Hmm, im not noticing it listed as so. When i Click the mixer two volume controls show up, and i can switch it to dj control air speakers and still no sound. I wonder if this is the issue.

Hello,

1) What is your computer configuration: computer brand & model, Windows version & type (as Windows 7.1 64-bit), CPU & RAM?
2) Have you tried with the last VirtualDJ version, VirtualDJ Pro 7.4.1?

It is possible the sound card is faulty, but your being able to select the outputs and play the sound, even if you hear nothing, means the computer has a normal answer from the sound card, so a setting issue is more likely than a hardware defectiveness.
