no sound from rca outputs

i am using a helcules mk4 with traktor pro 2. i am getting sound out of the 1/8" output 1-2, but nothing from any of the rca outputs. i also getting sound from headphone jack no problem.

i think my settings in are fine in traktor and the dj console mk4.

are the rca outputs known to fail? i bought my controler second hand.  

The 1/8 inch output, in the back, for speakers, shares the same channel with the RCA outputs. Thus, depending on your choices, you can use one or the other (never both).

If the RCA is not working there might be an actual hardware fault with them.

Try using the Virtual  DJ Home Editiona as well, just for testing the unit with.
