im going to use the dj control instinct for promotions/music, and i would like to know your recommendations for speakers; 4 or 8 ohms, wattage etc.

Could you be a little more specific about the kind and size of events and venues you are planning on doing?

Bars and restaurants, probably no more than 50-75 people at the most...
