hi all,
ive a new rmx 2 for few days. when i move the pitch fader on the console, unfortunately the corresponding pitch in the skin is not moving and the bpm remain the same.
i need to move the fader on the console several times before finally it moves also in the software.
do you know if i need to adjust something in the software?
thanks for your help 🙂
Actually I have encountered also the same problem with the gain controllers, .I need to turn them right and left several time before they activate the skin... 🙁
However the bigger problem is still with the pitch fader? Is there something I need to map in the software ( i have dj pro)
Thanks for your support....
Hi,
Is it in VDJ Pro 7.2 with the built in Rmx2 map or in VDJ 7.0.5 with Cioce MIDI map for Hercules?
Do you get the same issue in Djuced 40?
Are you on Mac or Windows?
You should try and check the MIDI functions of the unit using a specialized software tool to check the console. In case you are using the device on a Mac computer you can use MIDI Monitor; on a PC you can use MIDI Monitor are well, or, better, MIDI Ox. Both programs can be downloaded for free from the Internet:
I'm using a 2008 Macbook Pro and the DJ RMX 2 with CrossDJ and Virtual DJ and the pitch fader on the right side malfunctions using both software. On that pitch fader on the right side, the location shown in the software is lagged and does not show up in the correct spot (either too high or too low). How can I go about getting this repaired as quickly as possible?
The latest version of Cross (v2.3.0) and Virtual DJ (v7.3) both include native support fot the Rmx2.
Are you using their mapping or did you create you own?
Can you test the fader using the following procedure to see if the behavior is the same?

More specifically, check the extemities, where you should get two "0" and two "127" (the commands being 14 bits, it is expected to have two values)
