i have a proplem to solve and i need someone to help me.
i have hercules mk2 console and i use the software traktor pro and i have an external mixer.
ive tried two things:
a )to use the external mixer to play with, but ( 1 / 2 output in one channnel of the external mixer ,3/4 output in the other channel)each channel of the external mixer was playing both deck a and deck b
2 ) use one channel of the external mixer and try to play music from mk2 but the headphones did not work (i have connected the headphones in the mk2 headphone input but when i put the headphone knob of mk2 , for example in the " mix "option both songs can be heard from the speakers ! and i can not hear anything from my headphones when i switch the mk2 headphone knob to "decka "deck b "and "split " option .
please help me in a few days because im going to work as a dj in bar and i do not know what to do!

if you are using an external mixer, you have to configure the mk2 and traktor consequently:
1- in the dj console control panel
- set the console to asio
- in the advanced tab, click the button use external mixer
2- in traktor preferences:
- audio setup : select hercules dj console mk2 asio
- output routing > mixing mode > select external mixer
output channel a : ouput 1&2
output channel b : output 3&4
3- connect output 1/2 of the mk2 to one channel of the mixer, output 3/4 to a second channel.
your headphone are to be connected to the mixer, from where you will do the monitoring.
it allows me to pick only one option in output routing in traktor preferences.it gives me four option output 1 ,2 ,3 , 4 and i can pick only one only on both output channels a or b. eg i cant have output 1 in output channel a on the l and output 2 in output channel a on the r.
it also doesnt allow me to pick something in output channel b because if i pick something , the options i have in output channel a reset.
